Choose Lake Nona if you live or work in east Orlando, Medical City, Narcoossee, Moss Park or near the airport and the 417. Choose Ocoee for west Orange County: Winter Garden, Windermere, Apopka, MetroWest or anywhere along the 408 and 429 corridor. Choose Kissimmee for Osceola County: St. Cloud, Buenaventura Lakes, Poinciana, Celebration and Hunters Creek. Cost depends on the size of the area and the number of sessions in your plan. Small areas such as the upper lip or underarms sit at the lower end, large areas such as full legs or a full back at the higher end, and packages lower the per-session price compared with paying one session at a time. Most clients need 6 to 8 sessions to reach permanent hair reduction, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for the body and 3 to 4 weeks apart for the face. The laser only destroys follicles that are in the active growth phase, so several sessions are needed to catch every follicle. Most clients notice slower, finer regrowth after the third session.

Yes, when the correct wavelength is used. Splendor X combines an Alexandrite laser at 755 nm with an Nd:YAG laser at 1064 nm. Nd:YAG bypasses the melanin in darker skin and targets the follicle directly, which makes it the safer choice for Fitzpatrick skin types IV to VI. Most clients describe it as a quick warm snap rather than pain. Splendor X releases cryogenic cooling at the handpiece with each pulse, which numbs the skin surface and takes the edge off the sensation. Laser hair removal delivers permanent hair reduction. Follicles destroyed during treatment do not grow back, and most clients see a long-term reduction of the large majority of treated hair once the full plan is complete. Hormonal changes can wake up dormant follicles over time, so some clients book an occasional touch-up session, typically once or twice a year.

Shave the area 24 hours before your appointment. Do not wax, pluck or use an epilator for four weeks beforehand, because the laser needs the follicle intact. Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for two weeks, which matters in the Florida sun, skip retinol on the area for three days, and arrive with clean skin free of deodorant, lotion or make-up.

Expect mild redness for a few hours. Use a fragrance-free moisturiser and SPF 30 or higher on treated areas for two weeks, and avoid hot showers, saunas, pools, theme-park days in direct sun and intense workouts for 48 hours.
