Do not wax, pluck or use epilators for four weeks before treatment, because the follicle needs to be intact. Avoid sun exposure and self-tanner for two weeks, arrive with clean skin free of deodorant, lotion or make-up, and skip retinol on the treatment area for three days beforehand.

Expect mild redness and slight swelling around the follicles for a few hours. Apply a fragrance-free moisturiser, keep the area out of direct sun and use SPF 30 or higher for two weeks, and skip hot showers, saunas, pools and intense workouts for 48 hours.
